# How to send automatic appointment reminders

Minimize missed appointments by having PickTime send email reminders to your clients ahead of time. One-time setup, always running.

Head to settings

Open your business admin panel, go to Settings, and locate the Reminders options.

Choose the timing

Set how long before the appointment the reminder should arrive — such as a day ahead plus a 30-minute heads-up.

Confirm and you're done

Press Save. Going forward, every booked appointment will automatically send reminder emails to your clients.
